German Lorca</a>, Mestre da Fotografia” (“German Lorca, Master of Photography”) is the newest production at the <a target="_blank" href=https://www.mutualart.com/Exhibition/Afinidades-III--Cochicho/"/Organization/Oscar-Niemeyer-Museum/497C76CD69F81D0E">Oscar Niemeyer Museum</a> (MON), on display in Room 1. The exhibition is curated by Adriana Rede and José Henrique Lorca, son of the photographer.</p><p>Divided into sections, it presents a retrospective of his work, including his first work as an amateur photographer, in 1947. Around 160 photographs are displayed, as well as cameras and other personal items.</p><p>The exhibition covers Lorca's trajectory as an artist and professional in photography, for more than 70 years, with exceptional dedication, winning several awards and recognition in Brazil and abroad.</p><p><br></p>" />

The exhibition features works in the Olho, in the Araucária Spaces 1 and 2 and in the external area (water mirror). The curator is Marc Pottier.</p><p>Othoniel’s genius surpasses all expectations by transforming the Olho exhibition room into a kind of large planetarium, with the signs of the zodiac floating in the form of 12 sculptures in blown glass.</p><p>In total, the exhibition presents 25 large-scale works. The sculptures are made of various materials, such as: mirrored glass and stainless steel, mirrored glass and wood, and steel and gold leaf.</p><p><br></p>" />
